UBUNTU!
“An anthropologist proposed a game to children in an African tribe. He put a basket full of fruit near a tree and told the kids that whoever got there first won the sweet fruits.
When he told them to run they all took each other’s hands and ran together, then sat together enjoying their treats. When he asked them why they had run like that as one could have had all the fruits for himself, they said: “UBUNTU, how can one of us be happy if all the other ones are sad”? UBUNTU in the Xhosa culture means: “I am because we are.”

The Apostle Paul takes this “Ubuntu” concept even deeper. Not only is our humanity caught up and bound together, but so is our mental and spiritual connectedness in Christ! We are ONE and are to be Jesus to each other and the world!
“For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another (Romans 12:4-5)”
UBUNTU! Becoming closer and more connected with one another is part of God’s grand plan in presenting Jesus’ Body to the world! Running together, hand in hand, is only part of the sweet fruit Christians enjoy! God is good all the time! Mr. Steve
